Insightly underwent a brand refresh. I created the new look and feel, defined colors, and updated the existing brand guidelines. The colors chosen were based on product colors. Orange is the hero color, and supporting colors were chosen to represent additional products.

With these new brand guidelines, I set out to create a design system for the website. The website needed a full refresh of content, design, and imagery. There was no design system before I created one. I interviewed and hired a team of two developers to work together with me, and over 6 months we rebuilt the site while defining a design system and evolving it.

The home page and product pages were critical to the company, so we started with these. In addition, we created many stand alone campaign landing pages in accordance with marketing initiatives like email blasts and webinars.

I also oversaw the creation of and brand adherence to a new presentation deck template, email design, and social channel design and content.

 
 
 

Video Intro/Outro

I designed and animated intro/outro bumpers for videos. These were utilized by Service and Support, and the marketing teams.

 
 

The Mega Menu

 

I re-envisioned the website menu and created the “mega menu”. Using icons and thumbnails, I brought out of the closet many pages that were hidden in the footer. I worked with my developer to create an easy to edit backend through Wordpress so that quick edits can be made.

 
 
 

Product Pages

CRM Page

I worked with a product marketing manager and together we re-envisioned the look and feel of the products on the product page. This new content was SEO optimized to improve our search results. I directed the redesign project and managed two developers who executed my designs using Figma mockups.
